Enter Jesus Christ Superstore and their lineup of religious action figures!!!

Now, I am all for ingenuity…but even I, while I did laugh quite a bit, was shocked by these toys.

Why?

Well not because they are action figure representatives of major figureheads in religion, but because they are not very interesting. Sure, they have weapons (throwing nails, an AK-47 and even a Magnum 66 automatic for Buddha) but I mean c’mon…someone else already beat you to it and their action figures are just a little better (their Jesus has “gliding” action).

They are the good folks over at Accoutrements. I have two of their action figures (Jesus and Moses) and have purchased at least one other one. I would gladly purchase more…if I could find them. Oh well. The search goes on for the perfect Jesus Action Figure. [so far accoutrements is gliding head and cross above the competition...I mean how can you go wrong with a company that manufactures Gummi Bacon?]
