Deyen be not so heavy…

So, we’ve been noticing that our arms are getting tired much more quickly these days. So, we were wondering how much weight our son has gained since his last weigh-in (which was just before Christmas and he was 13lbs 4oz then and not quite 3 months old). Well, Jenn needed to go to the clinic the other day for a normal check up and Deyen was weighed. Well, below you’ll see a weight chart for boys between the ages of 0 and 36 months…
Boys weight chart

The top line represents the 97th percentile. That means that anyone on or above that line weighs more than 97 out of 100 children (on average). So, I checked and double checked and there was our boy…right on that 97th percentile line.

“Wait Lyf, you never told us how much he weighs though.”

You’re right. Well, let’s see…he’s 4 months old now and if he’s on the 97th percentile line then that means….look closer…go back to it if you have to…that’s right…18lbs. No wonder our arms are so tired all the time. I was inspired to finally check these things out as I see my good buddy measure these things with his daughter in a very cute and fun way. I’d like to try and post one like it when I get a chance.
