One of my favorite futuristic racing games ever is the WipEout series for the Playstation. It combines wicked physics, awesome graphics and designs and, the thing I love most about it – the soundtrack!
Each installment has it’s own wicked soundtrack.
Such awesome contributors as Fluke, Apollo440, Chemical Brothers, Future Sound Of London…I mean I could go on and on about the groups that are on the soundtracks. While looking for the CDs to buy online, I stumbled on this wicked free album featuring music inspired by the game its artists. Go head to G.A.M.E. now and download vol. 3 and enjoy the electronica goodness!
p.s. I found this album via VGMdb

I have bee obsessively checking the app store since I heard that Square Enix would be releasing Final Fantasy I & II for the iPhone. Well, my obsessiveness has paid off! They were officially released yesterday! WHEEEEE :-]
I have downloaded FFI and will do number II when I finish I. Already it looks and feels so good. Square knew what the fans were looking for and man, I think they have totally delivered a winner. I hope and wonder if this means they will release III through VI for it as well??? One can dream can’t one
p.s….as I was writing this (1 day after release) there are already reviews up…check them out here and here. While I think they may have some valid points, I won’t be able to say too much about them one way or the other, after all, I’m only 15 minutes into #1
